Ignatowski

Named after the Reverend Jim Ignatowski from Taxi — the wild, untethered spirit who never quite landed in the same world as everyone else. Faded black and yellow checker patterns beneath the surface evoke the cab he drove uptown, while a wild iris bouquet bursts over the top — flowers left behind by a passenger long gone, unnoticed by a driver lost somewhere between here and elsewhere. 11 × 14, mixed media on canvas, finished in an antique Aaron Brothers frame.
