Flowers to Gogh

I painted Flowers to Gogh in my studio in East New York following a long, rain-soaked commute back from The Metropolitan Museum of Art. After spending hours standing in front of Vincent's work—watching the way he made simple petals feel alive, restless, and heavy with emotion—I spent the entire train ride home staring out at the blurred city streets and wet glass.

By the time I made it back down to Atlantic and Conduit, that frantic, beautiful energy had to go somewhere. The long, erratic stems mimic the passing rush of the elevated tracks and structural steel cutting through the downpour, while the sky hums with the static of a New York rainstorm. It trades polite realism for a raw, immediate pulse.

The Print Edition For this rare limited edition run, I chose the Giclée process—the only printing method trusted by museums to capture the exact color fidelity, fine ink detail, and intricate surface quality of the original painting.
