ROSE5826 is an original mixed-media illustration by Mathew Humphries depicting a large, full-bloom rose rendered in dense concentric spiral linework, created May 2026. The composition is framed by a border of fingerprint and thumbprint leaf stamps — a spontaneous, tactile mixed-media element that gives the piece a deeply personal, handmade energy unlike anything else in the series. Printed in a two-color RISO combination of fluorescent pink and forest green, the palette is bold and joyful — the pink saturates the dense petal linework with warmth while the green leaf stamps pop with botanical freshness around the border.

These are special limited Risograph reproductions produced by RISO Studio Arts, a local printmaking studio in Chinatown, Los Angeles. Color matching, color separation, and precise cardstock cutting were handled by printmaster technician Jun Ha.
